Shade VFX has released their visual effects breakdown video for Marvel's Jessica Jones.

Shade VFX is the visual effects company that earned an Emmy-nomination in the "Outstanding Special Visual Effects" category earlier this year for their work on Netflix's Daredevil, so it makes sense that Marvel would turn to them again to work on their latest series, Jessica Jones.

"Shade's New York studio worked from start to finish on Jessica Jones, completing visual effects on over 600 shots," the VFX studio reports. "On-set FX Supervisor Karl Coyner and Producer Julie Long worked closely with the cast and crew to execute stunts, set extensions, explosions, wetwork and fire sequences to propel the action and character drama."

Check out the VFX breakdown in the video below.

Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is now available on Netflix.
