Okay, are we good?

Kathleen Kennedy has seemingly confirmed more actors returning for Star Wars: Episode VIII, written and directed by Rian Johnson. The movie has already done some preliminary shooting with Mark Hamill, reprising his role as Luke Skywalker once more.

Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm, already confirmed that Gwendoline Christie would be returning as Captain Phasma for the next episodic film. Christie told ComicBook.com she hopes to explore Phasma's backstory a bit more in the next movie.

"The feeling that I'm getting and the feeling that I have, is that I think everybody would love to know more about Captain Phasma. So let's just hope that happens," the actress said.

During the Star Wars global press day, though, it seemed like Kennedy might have let something else slip. She patted John Boyega, Finn in the film, on the shoulder, while seemingly indicating to him, Christie, and Oscar Isaac and said, "and these guys head back in January to start on Episode VIII." Now, in an interview with Mexican publication Excelsior, she confirmed they'll be back for the next movie. While London's Pinewood Studios is the primary location for shooting, some will be done in Mexico, she told them, with Boyega and Isaac both on location there soon.

So that's four confirmed returning cast members. Of course, with the Force, that doesn't necessarily mean any of them make it out of The Force Awakens alive.
