EXCLUSIVE: Geomancer Coming To The Flash

Actor Adam Stafford has been cast in the role of Adam Fells, also known as the DC Comics villain Geomancer, in the forthcoming thirteenth and fourteenth episodes of The Flash's second season, ComicBook.com has confirmed exclusively with the studio.

In the comics, Geomancer is foe of the Justice Society's, co-created by DC Chief Creative Officer and The Flash executive producer Geoff Johns. Adam Fells was a big fish in a small pond until he joined up with the Injustice Society and bad things started to befall him, building to his death. A successor came along, taking up the name and costume, but didn't make many appearances before the New 52 reboot.

In the TV series, Geomancer is described as "a dangerous meta-human with the unique ability to create earthquakes.  Intent on destroying the Flash, Geomancer uses his powers to unleash a string of targeted earthquakes, optimistic that he’ll draw out the Flash for a mano-a-mano fight to see who’s the most powerful metahuman in Central City."

The Flash returns on January 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Geomancer's episodes will show up a few weeks later.

The Flash is in my top 5 shows which is why I have to say I'm getting alittle concerned about the writing on the show. What do I mean? Lately- and it may be just me- it seems like the only motivation the baddies have is to be' top meta-human' dog in Central City. It's getting old.

I agree, but only to a point. I am NOT a fan of these freak of the week episodes either, but they are entertaining. I kind of wish that they would form Injustice Society on earth 1, there by forcing Barry and Oliver the form a Justice Society themselves to conflict with them. A small screen Justice League would be perfect, plus with the DC movies coming up. But that's only my two cents worth.
