New Godzilla: Resurgence images have surfaced online of TOHO's latest take on the enormous and destructive creature with radioactive breath.

As you'll see below, this Godzilla has a ferocious look to it with razor-sharp teeth packed tight around its mouth and beady little eyes of an apex predator. Even its reptilian skin has what appears to be radioactive burns strewn across it.

God Warrior Appears in Tokyo filmmakers Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi are co-directing Godzilla: Resurgence, based on a script written by Anno. It's the first Godzilla film produced by TOHO since 2004's Godzilla: Final Wars.

Godzilla: Resurgence is scheduled to be released later this year.
