In a world quite distant from that of comics - the sports world - Sean Payton announced he would be returning to the New Orleans Saints as their head coach for 2016-2017 season.

Payton, a Super Bowl champion in New Orleans and huge part of helping the city bounce back after 2005's Hurricane Katrina, had a fairly emotional press conference regarding the announcement in which he (attempted) quoted Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight.

Payton's friend and NBC New Orleans sports anchor, Fletcher Mackel, gave Payton some advice which Payton attempted to reiterate during the conference. "Leave early a hero, stay late and become a villain," Payton said.

We all know the real quote is, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain," which is probably the way Mackel said it to Payton in the first place, but a little dramatic for the circumstances of Payton's interview - so maybe he was just trying to appropriate the words to his situation.

It looks like Payton is taking the Harvey Dent approach to coaching, as he concluded, "If I have to someday become that villain, I plan on staying until everyone says we're burning your wagon out of town."
