The dawn of the Justice League is nearly upon us, and the man in charge of bringing all of these superheroes from DC Comics' universe together couldn't be more thrilled by the opportunity.

"I love Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman, but having Flash and Aquaman and Cyborg and to see them all standing together, it's a pretty dorky and cool experience for me," director Zack Snyder told USA Today. "Basically every one of those characters has a logo that you would recognize without them standing there, and that's a hard thing to achieve in this pop-culture world. We have history to draw on, but we also have these new frontiers to forge."

Soon after Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is released, Snyder will begin work on filming Justice League Part One and Part Two back-to-back. The first will open in theaters on November 12th, 2017, and the second-half will arrive June 14th, 2019.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
