Friends Cast Reunion Coming To NBC

Friends

The Friends cast will be reuniting on their home network next month during a two-hour special which pays tribute to James Burrows, the veteran sitcom director who just reached his 1,000th episode on television. 15 of his credits are from Friends.

The telecast, which is being compared to the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special, will also reunite the casts of Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, and Will & Grace - all shows which Burrows has worked on. Stars of Burrows' recent work will also appear, including those from The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly.

The entire Friends cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry will be present for the mega-reunion.

To be clear - this is not a new episode of Friends. It is the cast getting together, likely to reflect on the series and their time working with the iconic TV director, but not act out any new scenes.

The special show is set shoot later this month and will air on February 21 at 9 PM ET on NBC.

  1. Dude, someone tell NBC they suck. First bringing back Heroes, they ruined The Office yet kept it going, they have TVs worst show, Mysteries of Laura, SVU's still going, and they're layering next season with comedy after comedy, even stupid DC Powerless; which they're gonna have like no rights to any DC property, just a lot of talking and mentioning things.

  2. This guy must have a racial deal. I count one black cast member in all of the shows mentioned. But I could be wrong.
