At the Netflix TCA event Sunday, spirits were high amongst the cast and crew of Jessica Jones. The second season renewal had just been announced, and the Q&A was light-hearted, in stark contrast to such a dark show.

Stars Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter were asked about those crazy sex scenes from throughout the series, and talked about it openly (and with lots of laughs).

"If you're gonna have to do a scene like that, it's not terrible to do it with Mike," Ritter said with a laugh. "He's all right looking, but he's also just a nice guy, always has your back."

The stars say "there's really nothing sexy about" the sex scenes, and that they "pick on each other" during them.

"The awkward point is the people that are in the room besides us," Colter said. "We're okay, it's the 20-30 people that are around who are all of a sudden there - wouldn't normally be on set."

The pair have to "keep it professional" during the actual scenes, but "when we're not doing that, we're joking," Colter said. "It's interesting, when you're kind of half naked."

In general, Marvel TV EVP Jeph Loeb said the "element of sexuality was important" in helping establish the show as an adult drama.
