Hugh Jackman's final film playing Wolverine still doesn't have a title, but it may now have a production start date.

According to industry tracking site My Entertainment World, the third Wolverine solo movie will begin production in New Orleans on April 25, 2016.

The Wolverine director James Mangold is returning for the sequel. No official details on the film's plot have been released as of yet, but rumors suggest it may be based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's 2008-2009 Wolverine story "Old Man Logan."

Channing Tatum's Gambit is also filming in New Orleans. Both films are part of Fox's growing X-Men Cinematic Universe, so this could imply a connection, but is just as a likely a coincidence since New Orleans is becoming an increasingly popular filming spot for movies and television.

Check out when The Wolverine sequel and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
