Naomi Watts, Tom Sizemore, & David Lynch Join Twin Peaks Cast

by Russ Burlingame

Prolific character actor Tom Sizemore and Mulholland Drive leading lady Naomi Watts are headed to Twin Peaks, Deadline reports.

The site also reports that series creator David Lynch will return to reprise his role as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, memorable for all of his lines being delivered in a yell.

Sizemore is best known for his work on films like Natural Born Killers and Saving Private Ryan, but recently had a stint on CBS's Hawaii Five-0.

Watts, a major Hollywood leading lady, currently plays evelyn in the Divergent series.

Mulholland Drive, where Watts met Lynch, was originally conceived as a TV pilot, which Sherilyn Fenn years later revealed began its life as a Twin Peaks spinoff centered on Audrey Horne.

Twin Peaks is shooting now; the series is expected to return on Showtime in early 2017.
