While Ryan Reynolds -- or was it Deadpool? And is there any difference anymore? -- recently called his X-Men Origins: Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman a "legend," he also slammed the film as a career low point in a recent promotional spot for Deadpool.

The pair are obviously simpatico, though, as Jackman has posted a new selfie alongside Reynolds on Twitter.

Now, a countdown to the speculation that Wolverine is appearing in Deadpool in some crazy, meta way...!

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
