Deadpool Creator Rob Liefeld Draws Poster For Character's Interview

You've got to respect a hero who does his own press, and Deadpool is stepping up for it.

EW has an interview with Deadpool himself. That's right, not star Ryan Reynolds, but the Deadpool. The interview goes about how you would expect. Here's a sample:

Your movie stalled a number of times before being greenlit in 2014. What was the lowest point for you?
I once had aggressive, middle-of-the-night anonymous sex in a public park with several U.S. Senators. But the low point? Probably auditioning for Spider-Man.

The interview was accompanied by a new Deadpool poster, featuring artwork by creator Rob Liefeld.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, and Leslie Uggams.
