Warning: Spoilers ahead for tonight's episode of Arrow, titled "Sins of the Father."

Following a lively night of Facebook videos in which John Barrowman advocated for his Arrow character, Malcolm Merlyn, as the villain did some pretty insidious things and even lost a hand, the actor was joined by his co-star and onscreen rival Katrina Law...for a dance.

Tonight's stakes were high. We were told from the get-go that if Merlyn didn't die, Nyssa would see to it that Thea did. During our interview with actress Katrina Law, she told us that the compromise Oliver sought all episode wouldn't be something Nyssa would entertain.

"I think she knows she needs to completely get rid of him," Law said. "He's like a cockroach that just seems to keep coming back over and over and over again. Her father made a huge mistake allowing him to leave the League fo Assassins and live, because of that, look what he's come back and done."

That's not how it played out, though; Oliver Queen managed to find a middle ground where Merlyn wasn't killed -- but he was stripped of both the Demon's Head ring...and the hand it rested on.

All the more reason to blow off some steam, right?

You can check out Barrowman's Facebook page for more videos, offering his (emphatic) take on the night's action.

On-screen, however, things weren't quite as...festive.

The maneuver had pretty much the same result Law intimated it might: he was allowed to live, he suffered a debilitating and humiliating loss...and he lashed out at Oliver Queen, meeting up with Damien Darhk to put something pretty horrific in motion.

Arrow airs on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
