Doctor Who Stars David Tennant & Matt Smith To Make First Convention Appearance Together

Wizard World today David Tennant and Matt Smith , the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors on Doctor Who, will make their first convention appearance together at Wizard World NYC—The Doctors on Saturday, April 16 at the PlayStation Theater in Manhattan.

Fans will be able to purchase Dual VIPs, which include a photo op with both Tennant and Smith along with an autograph from each and guaranteed attendance for two at their interactive Q&A panel. Solo VIPs will get a single photo op with either Doctor, one autograph and one Q&A admission. A limited number of solo photo ops may be available (dual photo ops are VIP only).

"Our fans have been clamoring to see David Tennant and Matt Smith, two of our most popular guests, together, and Wizard World is proud to have brought them to this unique event," said John Macaluso , Wizard World CEO, in a press release. "Wizard World NYC—The Doctors is a significant addition to our schedule of pop culture and gaming conventions that will be one of the highlights of an exciting year."

Tennant began his run as the Tenth Doctor in 2005 and maintained the role through 2009. He then passed the torch to Smith as the Eleventh Doctor. In 2013, Tennant reprised his role as the Tenth Doctor and appeared alongside Smith's Eleventh Doctor for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, "The Day of the Doctor."
