Looks like the original Pink Ranger Kimberly Hart is taking off with her own spin-off miniseries, due this May, per Hero Complex.

Written by Brenden Fletcher (Gotham Academy, Batgirl) and Kelly Thompson (Jem and the Holograms) with art by Danielle Di Nicuolo (Mirror's Edge), Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Pink concentrates on Kimberly's life in and out of the Pterodactyl Zord.

With Boom!'s Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers series premiere issue pre-selling over 100,000 copies, this movie is kinda a no-brainer. Aside from Tommy Oliver, Kimberly had the most backstory of any of the First Five rangers who eventually left the team to pursue a career as a gymnast.

As the Mighty Morphin' comic series focuses in on Tommy's first year as a Ranger, it's unsure as the timeline of what this series will be.

So what do you think, readers? Does Kimberly deserve a solo spotlight, or would you rather have seen it shone on another member of the team? Let us know in the comments below.
