  1. This site is becoming almost laughable with its click bait and misleading headlines. BvS is going to make a ton of cash. It may not break any records but anyone who thinks it's going to be a flop is fooling themselves and this sites readers.

I agree with you dude. So much BS

  2. When did we all become armchair studio accountants? Now the metric for fans is if the film is "profitable"? If you do even cursory research into the way the studios do their books, there is practically no way to know if a movie will be profitable at the box office or by how much. With product placement, tie-ins, licensing, marketing, back-end gross points, tax breaks etc, it's a mess. Someone reports the movie cost X amount of dollars and everyone rusn with it, but most people at the studio don't even know how much these things cost. Regardless, Box Office releases are basically just giant marketing promotions for home video, on-demand, and, most profitably, TV licensing fees. Most movies don't become "proftable" until then anyway. But they need good word of mouth to make more money on the back-end, so the studios want big numbers up front for bragging rights to say "Look how much our movie made! It must be awesome! Buy the Blu-ray! Buy two!"

You may want to go see it but i will wait for the dvd, personally i never like superman and afleck ruined daredevil... And i know of noone who will be going to see it other than fanboys... That and the secretive nature of these movies mean that those who do choose to see it will wait till word of mouth if they choose to see it...
