Have you ever wanted to sling a batarang across the room at someone? No? Well I have, and sometimes it would be aimed at evildoers, but other times it just might make its way towards the obnoxious fast food employee who said my car being too small was the reason for the garbage service. I think not my friend!

Of course, there are many people of much better character than me who wouldn't sully themselves like that, and one of them is the creator of this custom batarang Patrick Priebe. In the video above you can see this slick thing in action. It is made from cut steel, and it hits hard. Priebe displays the speed and power of it against a few surfaces, which it cuts through quite convincingly. It is also extremely easy to use, not needing a ton of technique to get it going in the right direction. I would probably still find a way to hurt myself using it though.

You can see how exactly he made it as well in his other video tutorial, but it is going to take some effort and at least a little hardware know-how. Patrick said (via CNET) that the process took him two days or so, and that it required using a jigsaw to make the shapes he needed out of steel. From the video it looks as if it can take a beating as well. You can catch his other projects here.
