Celebrity dead pools are nothing new; I remember first hearing of them when I was in high school and comedy legend George Burns passed away.
In the movie Deadpool, of course, they took the idea of a dead pool to a new level, with the characters gambling on one another in a bar filled with mercenaries.
One would think that with a bunch of your friends being in a super-high-risk profession, you'd have plenty to choose from, but apparently there were even more familiar names on the dead pool.
Here's a rundown of the ones we spotted -- many of whom are either old, controversial, or...well, let's face it: would anybody be surprised if Charlie Sheen or Linsday Lohan's lifestyle was more dangerous than that of somebody who gets shot at for a living?
Anyway, what we were able to spot is a pretty impressive list for a movie filled to bursting with Easter eggs already:
Of course, it could be argued that at least in the case of Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, he also counts as a bar patron, since we saw him hanging out with Buck earlier in the scene.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
