Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will run for more than two and a half hours, AMC Theatres has confirmed.

The runtime for the film, which will be rated PG-13, is going to be 151 minutes, making it longer than Man of Steel's 143 minutes.

This number was previously reported by a German source back in December, but given how far away it was from the release date at the time, many fans questioned it.

The film is due in theaters on March 25.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Check out when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
