The Walking Dead: Who Does Rick Date After Jessie?

The Walking Dead took Rick's new girlfriend away even quicker than it awarded her to him.

Following the midseason premiere's killing of Jessie Anderson, audiences are wondering who will be Rick's next love interest. Well, we can tell you one thing: it's not going to follow the comics.

In The Walking Dead comics, Rick moves on from Jessie to Andrea. Yes, Andrea. She's still very much alive in the comics. In fact, she's Rick's wife a TV Carol-level bad-ass.

So, who will be Rick's next love interest? It's probably not going to be Carol. If she has a moment where her post-apocalyptic-found independence falters, she would like most certainly make moves with Daryl before Rick.

Ruling out Tara and Denise because they're not interested in men, there's still Sasha and Rosita. Both, however, seem to have a thing for Abraham. While Sasha fits the bill of Andrea on TV better than anyone else because she replaced her sniping from the bell tower role, we're going to rule her out, too.

Needless to say, Maggie is spoken for.

Which females are left in Rick's age range, now? Michonne? It's possible. In the comics, Michonne keeps to herself for the most part until Ezekial comes along, which is a driving factor of some plot points for the current comic book storylines. However, seeing as The Walking Dead likes to change things up for television, it's possible Michonne and Sasha switch on the Ezekial relationship if Michonne were to make the days of Richonne shippers. It seems like the most sensible bet, too.

We'll see if Rick keeps looking for post-apocalyptic love when The Walking Dead airs tonight at 9 PM ET on AMC.
