Courtesy of Youtube user Green, we now have a closer look at Wonder Woman's costume from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While we have had a few good close up shots before, this gives us some insight into the smaller details.
What sticks out most is how the reds and blues that Warner Bros. is using on the suit are less muted than I initially thought. Sure it isn't the vibrant red and blue from the comics, but that was never going to be the case. It is a far cry from that initial photo of her suit, that made everyone think it was made up of just varying degrees of bronze and brown though.
I also like how they are stressing that this isn't Wonder Woman's first appearance in the DC universe, just her first introduction to Batman and Superman. Her armor has numerous scuffs, dents, and scratches, showing just how worn and battle weary the armor is. I also can't say enough about the skirt. I love the classic Wonder Woman outfit, but I have always had a soft spot for when particular artists, like Darwyn Cooke or Jim Lee, opt for the skirt instead. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I'm just fond of it.
