Book-reading Game of Thrones fans are learning a new sense of unease as Season 6 prepares to progress past the published pages of George R.R. Martin’s fantasy saga.
Series star Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, is putting some minds at ease, though she’s doing it in a possibly unwelcome way.
SPOILERS ARE COMING
Turner attended last night’s Academy Awards ceremony. When stopped by Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, Turner chatted a bit about the upcoming season, accidently letting slip that her own character, Sansa, will survive at least long enough to see Season 7.
Here’s a Vine that shows Turner describing how she scanned the Season 6 scripts to see if she was among the soon to be dearly departed.
Considering how much Game of Thrones has already put Sansa Stark through, especially over the course of Season 5, keeping her alive seems like the least the showrunners could do.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.
