Teen Wolf's Marisol Nichols Cast As Riverdale's Hermione Lodge

According to Deadline, Marisol Nichols has been cast in The CW's Riverdale.

Nichols will be playing Hermione Lodge, the wife of Hiram Lodge and mother of Veronica Lodge (to be played by Camila Mendes). The 42-year-old actress is best known for recurring roles in Teen Wolf, Criminal Minds and NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

She'll join a cast that features KJ Apa as Archie, Ashleigh Murray as Josie, Luke Perry as Archie's dad Fred Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead,Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.

The live-action series offers a bold, subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring small-town life and the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade. The show will focus on the eternal love triangle of Archie Andrews, girl-next-door Betty Cooper, and rich socialite Veronica Lodge, and will include the entire cast of characters from the comic books—including Archie's rival, Reggie Mantle, and his slacker best friend, Jughead Jones.

Riverdale is expected to debut on The CW next fall.
