Now that production on season 1 is official completed, some of the cast, including Melissa Benoist (Kara), Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy), Chyler Leigh (Alex), David Harewood (Hank), and Jeremy Jordan (Winslow) released a video on Facebook, thanking the fans for all their support of the series thus far, and also to remind fans that season 1 still has plenty of surprises left to come.
While an official confirmation of season 2 hasn't been made, the show successfully brought Kara and the Superman mythos back to television in a big way, so I'm guessing that an official green light isn't very far off.
