Daredevil Cast and Crew Declare for Team Cap or Team Iron Man

Daredevil- Civil War - Alliances Revealed! by comicbookdotcom

It's the one question that had to get answered at the Daredevil Season 2 premiere: Whose side are you on in the Civil War?

With a new trailer out for Captain America: Civil War the same day as the premiere event in New York, it's the one question that had to be asked of everyone ComicBook.com talked to, are you Team Cap or Team Iron Man? Overall, it seemed like Cap was the man with the plan. Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock/Daredevil on the show, said Cap in an instant, with no hesitation. So did Philip Silvera, the second unit director and stunt coordinator (yes, you have him to thank for the Hallway scene - and what's to come). Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb said he was Team Cap because "the Government isn't going to tell me what to do," and Deborah Ann Woll picked Cap after a short deliberation.

As for the dissidents, only Amy Rutberg, who plays Foggy's on-again off-again Marci Stahl, flat-out said Iron Man. Then, there were the complications.

The Punisher, Jon Bernthal, didn't declare for either team - instead, he sided for his pal Tom Holland, and said definitively he was "Team Spider-Man!" He mentioned to ComicBook, "That's my man, Tom's amazing," referring to their joint audition process.

As for the showrunners of Daredevil, Marco Ramirez abstained, and Douglas Petrie had faith in his own character. "Team Daredevil!" he shouted with a smile.

Daredevil season 2 premieres March 18, 2016 on Netflix.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.

That's a rub in, Daredevil should be in this, how hard is it to make a 2 or 3 minute cameo?

Facts! It's only right to throw all of our MCU characters in Civil War! I mean damn were not saying we need a line from all of our characters but still a cool ass CGI background Battle Royale would of done it for us!! I mean all we got so far is a parking lot fight between 10 people! I mean I understand why they wouldn't be able to use certain characters due to publishing rights which is a shame cause the X-men n Fantastic Four most definitely belong on screen wit them especially given Reed Richards role in the comics of Civil War but still it should be more than a five on five this ain't a basketball game! smh
