Star Wars: The Force Awakens was nominated for five-Academy Awards, but the $2 billion blockbuster was shut out on Oscar night. That wasn't the case on Saturday, at Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards, where The Force Awakens was nominated in four categories and won "Favorite Movie" of the year.

The seventh installment in the Star Wars film franchise beat out competition from Ant-Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Cinderella, Daddy's Home, Jurassic World, Pitch Perfect 2, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2.

Watch Chewbacca and BB-8 accept the award in the video below.

In this thrilling continuation of the epic space opera, ex-stormtrooper Finn, scrappy desert dweller Rey, and droid companion BB-8 get caught up in a galactic war when they come across a map containing the whereabouts of the vanished Luke Skywalker. They soon embark on an epic adventure that brings them face-to-face with heroes from the past, as well as new villains such as Kylo Ren and the First Order, a fascist regime that has emerged from the ashes of the old Empire.

The Force Awakens on Digital HD on April 1st before coming to Blu-Ray on April 5th.
