The Walking Dead: Huge Negan And Lucille Easter Egg In East

How fitting is it that an Easter egg for the most menacing villain on The Walking Dead was hidden in an Easter Sunday episode called East?

In case you somehow missed it or were unaware, a major Easter egg for Negan's arrival was found about half way through the episode as Carl checked out some guns in the Alexandria armory.

As Carl picked up a pistol, one which the Alexandrians stole from the Saviors compound which they raided a few weeks ago, and as he analyzed its handle he saw something very interesting. While Carl doesn't realize the significance of the carving on the gun, viewers and especially comic book fans know that the marking is one foreshadowing Lucille.

Lucille is Negan's barbed wire wrapped baseball bat which will literally be cracking skulls by the end of Sunday's season finale of The Walking Dead. Does the foreshadowing here mean that it will be Carl who is spending his last day on earth this weekend?
