We see so many reviews and movie analysis on the internet nowadays, that it's rare for one, in particular, to reach through all the noise and really speak to you.

That said, it is exactly what Brett Culp, of The Rising Heroes Project, manages to do. Cyborg actor Ray Fisher shared the heartfelt review of his Instagram, adding "Here's a link to a touching interpretation of the heart of Batman V Superman." It's an aspect of the film that hs been thoroughly questioned, and Culp is in agreement that neither of these renditions of Batman or Superman fit into his vision of the two characters. That doesn't mean though that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn't have a story to tell, and a heartfelt one at that.

In the video, Culp gets a bit emotional but accurately depicts the film as the tale of two heroes trying to find themselves again. Batman after years of battle and loss, questioning the results of his efforts, and Superman questioning if his presence is really benefiting the people he is trying to protect. His argument is that throughout the film they are clearly not the heroes we've known for years, and the movie serves as a springboard to get them back to where we know they can be. It's quite a compelling argument, and personally, I happen to agree.

You can watch his entire analysis above, and make sure to check out Brett and Tricia Culp's great work on their website.
