Jerrod Carmichael Up For Transformers 5 Role

Transformers 5 might've just found itself some comedic relief.

The action-packed spectacle film, which returns with both Director Michael Bay and star Mark Wahlberg in tow, is reportedly (via The Wrap) in talks with comedian Jerrod Carmichael. The talented star recently debuted his new show on NBC, The Carmichael Show, and is riding a nice wave with his upcoming role reprisal in Neighbors 2 with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron.

The newest entry in Bay's money making series also involves Steven Spielberg as Executive Producer, and will co-star 100 Things To Do Before High School actress Isabela Moner. The film is set to debut on August 1st, 2017.
