Some fans crave spoilers. Others loath them.

Well, it seems a savvy software engineer is trying to get ahead of the game and release some plot points prior to the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, author J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter spinoff, which hits theaters this winter.

According to an earlier report on ComicBook.com, Ian Cervantez dug into Pottermore , Rowling's website for all things Harry Potter and his wizarding world, and cracked its source code, revealing the names of four houses that are part of an upcoming "Ilvermorny Sorting Ceremony." The house names?

"Horned Serpent, Wampus, Thunderbird and Pukwudgie." Many assume these names apply to the North American version of Hogwarts, Ilvermorny.

Comicbook.com also posted descriptions of each house, as the names reference folklore and mythology with reported ties to Native American culture. Still, we've yet to hear confirmation if they do in fact relate to the Potter spinoff, to be released in theaters nationwide in November of this year.

And what does Harry Potter himself make of Fantastic Beasts?

"I'm now in the position of kind of hearing about it with the rest of everybody," the Harry Potter actor said. He swore to Larry that he has no inside track into the details of the spinoff. "I'll have to look forward to it with everyone else."
