Paramount Pictures has released a new "Let's go!" TV spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, featuring April O'Neil saying, "Cowabunga!"

Two summers ago, the Jonathan Liebsman-directed, Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action film opened in North America with a surprisingly solid $65 million despite getting hammered by film critics (22% rating on Rotten Tomatoes). It ended up grossing $191.2 million at the domestic box office and $302.1 million overseas, earning itself a sequel.

That sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, will open nationwide this Friday and will have to compete with new arrivals (Me Before You, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and a marketplace crowded with holdover films targeting family and comic book audiences.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is directed by Dave Green and stars: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Brad Garrett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will land in theaters June 3, 2016.
