Chris Hemsworth's Kevin Included In New Ghostbusters International Poster

Sony Pictures has released (via Empire) a new international poster for Ghostbusters, and features the Chris Hemsworth and the film's four leading ladies — Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones — standing in front of the new Ecto-1.

Aside from Rush, Snow White and the Huntsman, Cabin in the Woods, and, of course, playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron), Chris Hemsworth hasn't had a lot of success at the box office as a leading man. Perhaps, he is best suited for playing a supporting role like the role of Kevin in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot.

"Kevin, he's a big dumb puppy dog," Hemsworth said of his character, who plays the Ghostbusters' receptionist. "He has no idea what they even do. Kevin thinks he's going to become a Ghostbuster too. He takes a whole lot of the equipment, gets a bike and builds his own uniform and is like "Look I'm one of the gang now.'"

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today – Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. This summer, they're here to save the world!

The film is directed by Paul Feig (The Heat, Bridesmaids), written by Feig and Katie Dippold, and produced by Ivan Reitman and Amy Pascal. Feig, Jessie Henderson, Tom Pollock, Joe Medjuck, Ali Bell, Michele Imperato Stabile, and Dan Aykroyd are its executive producers. The cast features Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams, Neil Casey, Elizabeth Perkins, and Chris Hemsworth.

Ghostbusters is due in theaters July 15, 2016.
