A few weeks ago, The Coalition released a beta test for their upcoming Gears of War 4 to Xbox One gamers who had been playing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on their current generation console.

The purpose of beta testing a game to so many different users is to find problems or places where a game can improve. Since the release, The Coalition has done just that, as revealed by Studio Head Rod Fergusson. Fergusson took to Twitter to share some side by side screen shots of Gears of War 4 as it was during the beta testing stages and where it is now.

The graphics have certainly come a long way since the beta. They were one of the biggest criticisms from gamers who were able to give Gears 4 a shot.

With E3, the biggest gaming expo of the year, taking place over the weekend, Fergusson has confirmed we will be seeing more of The Coalition's work on Gears of War 4. The new looks will likely come during Microsoft's presentation as that is where Gears of War 4 was originally announced a year ago.

Gears of War 4 is currently set for release on October 11, 2016. In the mean time, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is available on Xbox One to relive the glory of the franchise's original game.
