The first official image from The Walking Dead's seventh season has been revealed and it looks like Negan is having a good time.

By the looks of it, season 7 will pick up right where season 6 left off and provide us with the answer to the summer's biggest question: "Who did Negan kill?" Negan's eenie-meenie-minie-moe game will pick up right where we last saw it and reveal his first victim.

"Yes, who was at the receiving end of Negan's bat will be revealed in the first episode," confirms The Walking Dead's executive producer Greg Nicotero.

As for Negan's personality, we only caught a glimpse of it in the closing moments of Last Day on Earth. There will be more monologues, more arrogance, and more brutality according to Nicotero.

"Negan is that kind of guy," Nicotero promises. "He's the kind of guy who imagines himself on stage at a high school production and he loves every second of it. So, I don't really see a lot of quiet contemplative moments with Negan. I feel like with Negan it's really going to be about him gesticulating and him sort of relishing in the sound of his own voice while he commands the stage in front of whoever's alive."

Speaking to Norman Reedus over the weekend, the Daryl Dixon actor teased the a certain gargantuan quality coming to The Walking Dead's season 7. "There's different worlds now," Reedus says. "There's different characters. There's a change of power on the show. Negan coming in has flipped our whole script so to speak. We are no longer the Alpha right now. It's a new world. It's a new, dangerous world in a different way now."

With San Diego Comic Con right around the corner, the trailer for The Walking Dead's seventh season is set to debut on Friday, July 22. It's going to be a big week.
