WWE Hall of Famer Adam "Edge" Copeland Joins Cast of Vikings

Since retiring from in-ring competition five years ago, Adam "Edge" Copeland has been keeping busy acting in television and independent movie roles such as Syfy's Haven, Sanctuary, and even a guest spot on CW's The Flash.

Now Copeland adds another television title to his budding resume as he joins the History Channels Vikings this season. Copeland will star as Ketill Flatnose, a "fierce and brave warrior" that is apparently chosen by Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) to lead the Viking party that will set up a community in Iceland. The role is said to be a recurring character this season and not just a guest spot.

This will be Vikings' fifth season and Copeland won't be the only new addition to the cast this season. It's been previously reported that actor Jonathan Rhys Myers will also join the cast of History Channel's hit series, but details of his character remains under wraps for the time being.
