A batch of new photos from the upcoming seventh season of The Walking Dead have surfaced and we're getting our first real look, outside of the trailer, at some of the major characters who were not potential victims of Negan's bat swing.
The new photos provide looks at Carol, Morgan, Jesus, Negan, and Ezekiel. Of course, a zombie also made the cut as it emerges from some dust.
But what kind of information can we surmise from the images showcased in the gallery below? Well, Negan is certainly on his way to Alexandria. This could have been inferred from the season 7 trailer when he cozied up with Olivia and was seen inside the walls but the chilling new photo may be his arrival to the Safe-Zone or possibly the first time he shows up hungry for supplies.
Carol is seen waking up, probably confused as to what's going on or how she is even alive and the man who chased her down, Morgan, doesn't look very happy wherever he is (likely just outside of The Kingdom).
Jesus looks to be at the Hilltop or at least some safe place with electricity in a pretty serious moment, though not quite kicking walker butts like he was in the trailer. He could possibly be hearing the news of Negan and Rick's encounter or simply getting lectured by Gregory, which is never fun.
Finally, we have King Ezekiel upon his throne. The new character, played by Khary Payton, is going to be a major part of season 7 and his loyal tiger will likely become a fan favorite as soon as she is introduced.
The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season October 23 at 9 PM ET on AMC. For complete coverage, insider info, and more all season long, be sure to follow me on Twitter @BrandonDavisBD and check out The Walking Dead on ComicBook.com on Facebook.
