If you were planning on heading to Universal Studios Japan with the kids, just be forewarned that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter won't be as cheery at night.

That comes courtesy of Universal's first limited time event for the Harry Potter themed park, which will start on September 14th and last for a total of 54 days. During those 54 days, the peaceful and charming world of Hogsmeade will have its streets roamed by the dark wizards known as The Death Eaters, and they're the furthest thing from cuddly. You'll see them walking through the park in their black hoods and masks, so you might want to brace your kids accordingly.

If that isn't for you, you can still enjoy the park's cheerful demeanour during the day, with a new Magical Trick or Treat experience for the family to enjoy. If you want something more filling than just candy, you can always go for the Hallowe'en Dessert Feast, which includes desserts inspired by Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

You can check out the official description of The Death Eater's event below.

This fall for the first time, a new kind of entertainment will be offered, on an overwhelming scale and with meticulous attention to detail. The Dark wizards—The Death Eaters™—appear and peaceful Hogsmeade™ will experience moments of darkness. This new, grand-scale piece of entertainment, exciting experiences, and new food are available for this fall only. Enjoy the Hallowe'en in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ that can only be experienced at Universal Studios Japan®.
