No details were provided about their roles. Darby and Turner join a cast that already features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (San Andreas) as Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Kevin Hart (Central Intelligence) as Moose Finbar, Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Ruby Roundhouse, and Jack Black (School of Rock) as Professor Shelly Oberon, as well as Nick Jonas (Scream Queens), When The Game Stands Tall actor Ser'Darius Blain (playing Anthony "Fridge" Johnson) and Madison Iseman (Wild For The Night).

Darby other notable roles include Jim Carrey's Harry Potter-loving boss in Yes Man, Anton in What We Do in the Shadows, and Steve in the TBS comedy series Wrecked, as well as voicing Coran in Voltron: Legendary Defender.

Turner's other film credits include Remember Me, The Answer Man, Invincible, and a role in Todd Hayne's upcoming Wonderstruck. Her TV credits include Mercy, Inseparable, Blue Bloods, and Halal in the Family.

Jumanji is being directed by Jake Kasdan. The script was written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers and based on the Caldecott Medal-winning adventure book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg. The book was previously adapted into a feature film in 1995, starred Robin Williams, and grossed more than $260 million globally. Ted Field, Mike Weber, Kasdan, David Householter, Van Allsburg, Johnson and Dany Garcia are executive producing.

Jumanji will burst into theaters on July 28, 2017.
