Game Of Thrones Set Video Reveals Major Meet-Up Between Characters

Next year, the penultimate season of Game of Thrones will reach viewers courtesy of HBO. The seventh season is currently in production all over Europe and the UK, leaving the hit drama vulnerable to prying fans and photo lenses. And, not long ago, it seems as if one of those fansites got ahold of some much-awaited footage featuring a major meet-up between two characters.

Seriously, there are spoilers below. So many spoilers are coming, and you have been warned. Brace yourselves.

Watchers On The Wall recently shared a video they came across which depicts a meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. The shaky footage follows Snow as he walks down an exposed staircase before reaching Dany at the its bottom landing. The blond-haired Targaryen turns to greet the visitor, and it looks as if the two hold a civil enough conversation before the video fades to black.

Yesterday, rumors began swirling that Snow and Dany would meet in Season 7 after photos confirmed the two characters would be in the same place at the same time. Both Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke were seen filming in at a locale in Spain with their respective followers. Snow's followers were allegedly photographed being escorted by Melisandre while Team Targaryen arrived to the set soon after.

ComicBook.com's Jaimie Lovett commented about the pair's meeting and said it seems "likely" that Snow is wanting to form an alliance with Dany against Cersei Lannister. "We still don't know the context of this scene, but it seems very likely that it could be Dany's arrival at Dragonstone, the former seat of power for House Targaryen from which Aegon Targaryen was able to conquer most of Westeros after the Doom of Valyria," he said.

"Whether this is Dany's arrival or not, it seems likely that Jon, the King in the North, is there to form an alliance with Dany against Cersei Lannister. That battle, Targaryen and Stark (or rather, Targaryen and secret Targaryen) allied against the Crown, very well may be the grand climax to Game of Thrones Season 7, clearing the way for the survivors to turn their attention to the oncoming threat of the White Walker invasion from north of The Wall."

Of course, this meeting will come after last season's less-than-shocking revelation about Snow's parentage. Fans have their theories about the character's roots for awhile, but those beliefs were confirmed when Bran had a vision about Snow's birth. Viewers learned the boy was actually the son of Ned Stark's sister Lyanna who had died in childbirth. As for Snow's father, fans were told he was none other than Rhaegar Targaryen - a fact that makes Snow and Dany blood relatives. In fact, she's his aunt.
