The CW has released a batch of promotional photos from The Flash's next episode, "Borrowing Problems From the Future," which is set to debut on January 26. The mid-season premiere title seems to be referring to the events of the fall finale earlier this month, when Barry Allen got a glimpse at a possible future - and its disastrous consequences.
The images include the first good look at Stephen Huszar as Jared Morillo, the villain known as Plunder, as well as some of the interior shots from the STAR Labs Museum.
You can check them out in the attached image gallery.
In his fleeting appearance in the most recent teaser trailer, Plunder uses a high-tech rifle and steals...something...out of a glass case.
Morillo had been named as a villain Team Flash would face in the mid-season premiere. There was a clip released earlier this month by The CW which didn't make it look like he's going to be a major player in the episode -- more a one-off villain to be used as a plot device to drive a wedge between Barry and Wally.
The museum at STAR Labs, meanwhile, is the brainchild of the alternate Harry that's currently on Earth-1 working with Team Flash. It seems like it's a predecessor to the Flash Museum, something we've glimpsed on the show and is a staple of the comics the series is based on.

While up to this point in season 3, The Flash has dealt with the fallout of "Flashpoint," an alternate timeline he created at the end of season 2, that's taking a backseat in the second half of the season to Barry's attempts to prevent the speed god Savitar from killing Iris West -- something he saw when he accidentally traveled to the future. The second half of season 3 will also see another crossover with Supergirl - this one a musical crossover featuring the singing talents of stars Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin, who both appeared on Glee before their superhero careers.
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT; The Flash on Tuesdays at the same time, followed by DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m.; Arrow on Wednesdays at 8. New episodes return the last week in January.
