With the new announcement that a Venom movie is on the way from Sony, the Spider-verse is getting all kinds of attention. Even with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 about a month away from its release, this summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming has once again become the talk of the town.
Only one trailer has debuted so far for the new movie, so fans are waiting on the edge of their seats for more footage, images - really anything.
Thankfully, a new promo image from Homecoming has been released online. Along with a look at the new Funko POP figure, the new photo of Spider-Man was tweeted out by Marvel Japan's official account.

Sure, the picture doesn't really show anything people weren't expecting, but it's still a great shot of Spidey in action.
The image shows Peter Parker - in full Spider-Man garb - swinging through New York City. It offers a great, high-res look at the updated suit, and makes the movie look like even more fun than we were already expecting.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, and Hannibal Buress.
