The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is here! This is the MMORPG's biggest expansion yet, with plenty of goodies for new and old players alike. As its name implies, the expansion introduces Vvardenfell, the original island setting of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. In addition to a whole lot of new land to explore, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind includes additional story elements, missions, trials, a PvP battle mode, and a new class, the Warden, who can control animals.

Bethesda is celebrating the arrival of The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind with a 4K launch trailer, and dang, does this game look good. I'm not MMO expert, but ESO certainly beats the pants off competitors like World of Warcraft in the visual department.

Here's what Bethesda has to say about the launch of their latest ESO expansion:

"With the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, we're thrilled to finally bring a new Chapter to ESO, one that takes players back to Vvardenfell, the ancestral home of the Dark Elves. Players last saw Vvardenfell as the setting for The Elder Scrolls III: Morowind, back in 2002, and we're very happy to finally give everyone the opportunity to return to the iconic island.

Of course, this new Chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online saga brings more than just a new, open world to explore. With ESO: Morrowind, we are introducing the Warden, a brand new PvP game mode with Battlegrounds, and a new, challenging Trial with the Halls of Fabrication. As I have said many times, ESO is designed to give players the freedom to play the way that they want to play. We began building this experience by removing the barriers to exploration in the One Tamriel update last year, and we've further built upon that concept in ESO: Morrowind, which features PvE, PvP, and even solo-focused content."

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is available right now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
