Effective villains don't have to wreak all of the havoc themselves. They have a team of baddies to [...]
Ebony Maw
Ebony Maw's most dangerous weapon, despite what it may look like in the photo above, is his thinking ability. Working in Thanos' Black Order, Ebony Maw was sent to Earth to deal with Doctor Strange, one of the smartest Earth-based heroes, in the Infinity comic story.
After getting the best of Strange, Ebony Maw summons Shuma-Gorath, and uses the Sorcerer to find Thanos' son. Upon finding the Mad Titan's son, Ebony Maw frees Strange from his control.
On the pages of Marvel Comics, Ebony Maw first appeared in New Avengers Vol. 3 Issue #8. The character is now set to make a cinematic debut in Avengers: Infinity War.

Corvus Glaive
"I am a servant of my master, Thanos-- a destroyer of worlds, a breaker of kings. I am one of the five, Corvus Glaive," said the character on the pages of Jonathan Hickman's Infinity series. In this case, he'll be one of the four members of the Black Order, unless Supergiant is introduced later.
Corvus Glaive, a member of the Black Order, is married to Proxima Midnight. When Thanos decided he would raze Earth in search of his son, Corvus Glaive was sent to the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. When Thanos' son was not there, he left. The X-Men characters do not reside in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, meaning Corvus Glaive will be on a separate mission.
As long as Corvus Glaive's blade remains unbroken, the character cannot die.
Corvus Glaive first appeared in the Free Comic Book Day preview book of Infinity #1.

Proxima Midnight
Proxima Midnight, a member of Thanos' Black Order, is one of the strongest and best skilled fighters of the bunch.
When Thanos sets his sites on Earth in the Infinity comics, the wife to Corvus Glaive is sent to Atlantis, where she is to retrieve an Infinity Stone from Namor. After winning a battle with the stand-in protectors of Earth in New York City while the Avengers were off in space, Proxima Midnight earns the allegiance of Atlantis when Namor reveals the last Infinity Stone to be in Wakana -- Black Panther's home.
Proxima Midnight sets out for Wakana, along with Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, and Thanos, to retrieve the final Infinity Stone.
Proxima Midnight first appeared in New Avengers Vol. 3 Issue #8.

Black Dwarf
Originally, Wakanda was to be Black Dwarf's responsibility. This member of Thanos' Black Order would run into more trouble than his teammates, however.
When Black Dwarf arrived in Wakanda, he met a resistance much greater than he anticipated. Ultimately, he was forced to retreat. For his failure, Black Dwarf was expelled from the Black Order by Thanos. He is given a new mission later on, with which he also fails.
Black Dwarf was first introduced in New Avengers Vol. 3 Issue #8.
