Nashville's largest annual comic book and horror convention is coming up on Saturday, October 20 & Sunday, October 21, 2007. The October Comic & Horror Festival is being held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. The doors open at 10AM each day, but there are VIP packages available that include early admission. The festival offers over 40,000 square feet of comics, toys, games, star wars, anime, movie items, and more. Over twenty guests from TV, movies, comics, and more are scheduled to attend. The first 1,000 kids ten and under get a free comic or toy on Saturday and Sunday, and door prizes will be given away each day. Admission to the Comic & Horror festival is $5 per day. Comicbook.com reporters will be covering the festival. The guest of honor at the festival is John Saxon whose films include Enter the Dragon, Masters of Horror, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Death House, From Dusk Till Dawn, and many more. Jackson Bostwick, who played Captain Marvel on the classic Saturday morning television show Shazam!, will also be appearing at the festival.
