Another classic video game will see the light of the big screen. Proving to be as undead as its main antagonist Dracula, Konami game Castlevania is another step closer to being made. News reports from Variety report that director James Wan (Saw) is in talks to helm the project with Ian Jeffers to lend his hand to scripting duties. The whip-cracking adventures of hero Simon Belmont and his family of vampire hunters will be the focus of the film, with the action, much like the game, taking place inside a giant castle deep in the mountains of Europe. A film version of the game was in talks, but the Writers' Guild of America strike of 2007 put the project on hold. Next up perhaps, who will play Belmont?
