Acme Comics of Greensboro, North Carolina has a long tradition and history in their local community. On Saturday, October 24th, another page will be added to their 26-year journey when comic book artist Chris Giarrusso brings his Image Comics character G-Man to the store in a limited edition variant of the series' second issue! That Saturday from 10AM-7PM, Giarrusso will be appearing alongside comic book creators Art Baltazar, Jacob Chabot, Brian Smith, and Gregg Schigiel, who each have a backup feature in G-Man #2, and who are each known for their own work with both major comic book publishers and their own creative projects! There will only be a 1,000 copies available at Acme, and the variant has been drawn specifically for the event, with the character of G-Man squaring off against the Acme Comics mascot, Acme Bat, above the Greensboro skyline. The cover is described as, "an homage to 1976's Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-man, the first ever Marvel/DC Comics crossover." The event is guaranteed to be an all-ages event, with families welcome to take part in the festivities! Each artist in attendance will be signing and sketching, along with talking with those in attendance about their work and upcoming projects!
