First 'Kick-Ass' Trailer Is Out--and It's Awesome

When we first heard long ago about the development of 'Kick-Ass', the Mark Millar comic book, we were pretty pumped. Then Matthew Vaughn was attached to Direct, and we got REALLY excited. Now we can barely contain ourselves after seeing the first trailer. The film, starring Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass/Dave, follows a loner who decides to become a superhero. His exploits bring others into the superhero profession, including Hit Girl. We're happy to see that the trailer appears to take on the persona of the comic book--funny, yet violent. The question is--what will be the rating on this movie? To stay true to the book, it'll need to be a 'R'. However, we're guessing that the studio will push hard for a PG-13.
