Smallville's 10th Season to be the Last

Considered a miracle several months ago that it would even return this fall, star Tom Welling revealed yesterday that the upcoming 10th season of the CW series Smallville will be the last. The show, originally set in the days before Clark Kent became Superman, has seen quite an evolution over the past few years, with cast ranks growing and contracting and with other heroes joining the roster as well. Welling let the news slip at a Hollywood book release party, according to HollywoodLife.com, and even he was surprised that the series has lasted as long as it has.
