As the world waits for The Dark Knight Rises, more details of the movie continue to leak out. The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex scored a set interview with Anne Hathaway, which they are running as part of their 2012 Film Sneaks issue. While the article mainly focuses on tidbits from Anne Hathaway on how she prepared for the Catwoman role, there is also one detailed scene description, hence the spoiler warning. The scene is introduced by describing Gotham City as a war zone and Bane as a ruthless madman. In the scene, Hero Complex describes "a hooded prisoner is dragged in – it's Bruce Wayne, one of Gotham's most famous faces – but the eyes of the crowd go instead to the woman in black standing at the top of the staircase." The woman in black is of course Selina Kyle (Catwoman), who says "Sorry to spoil things, boys, but Bane needs these guys himself." While this scene doesn't really give away a lot of details, it does clarify some questions that had been raised from the trailers. It does look to confirm Catwoman is working in cahoots with Bane, where before it was unclear whose side if anyone's side she was on. Of course, there's no telling if Catwoman might switch allegiances during the course of the film. Some had also wondered from the trailer if Selina Kyle might have figured out that Bruce Wayne was Batman, but this scene description seems to lean toward another theory, which is Bruce Wayne is being targeted because he's a famous rich guy. If this is the case, then it might lead more support to the theory that something similar to the Occupy Wall Street movement is a plot element in The Dark Knight Rises. In addition to the scene description, there are some additional insights into the Catwoman character. According to Hero Complex, Selina Kyle's stiletto heels have serrated edges, while her high-tech goggles flip up to resemble cat ears. To prepare for the role, Anne Hathaway studied the work of movie star Hedy Lamarr.
