The Walking Dead Midseason Premiere Sneak Preview

For those of you like me who have been going through some serious Walking Dead withdrawals, AMC has released a preview of the first four minutes of the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead. We would include a spoiler warning here, but if you haven't already watched the midseason finale of the second season of The Walking Dead, then you probably aren't a big Walking Dead fan. The midseason finale ended with Shane letting a group of zombies out of a barn, and it turned out Sophia was one of them. Left with no other choice, Rick stepped up and shot Sophia in the head to both protect the others and end her suffering. Now, one might suspect that the midseason premiere might pick up hours or days after the shocking events of the midseason finale. But The Walking Dead is too good of a series to pull such a television cliché, and the "Nebraska" episode of The Walking Dead kicks off right where the midseason finale ended. The series wastes no time getting right back into the action, and there are plenty of gruesome zombie scenes in the first four minutes. The Walking Dead midseason premiere airs in its entirety on February 12, 2012 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
